Chosen from fellow professors Kathyrn, along with Fariba Bolandhemat, was chosen to design and build a very special online course for Santa Monica College's Department of Computer Science and Information Systems and Workforce Development under a federal grant.

This class is a globaly accessible online course. It provides targeted media for various disabilities. The course is a beginning computer course.

While presenting the process of how to build this course at the Florida Educational Technology Conference in January of 2008, a representative of Adobe was in the audience. He stated that he had not seen anything like this being done anywhere and invited Kathryn to become an official Adobe Education Leader.

The Website was built utilizing technologies to allow employees with varying degrees of expertice to maintain the site without changing the styles or layouts.

Kathryn was selected through a bidding process to provide webmaster services for the County of Los Angeles Fire Department April 2004. Her Contract was re-newed in August 2004 to design and build a brand new Website..
